James Corden to Replace Craig Ferguson as ‘Late Late Show’ Host


British comedian and actor James Corden is the new host of the Late Late Show on CBS

After more than a month of rumors, the network confirmed on Monday that Corden will replace current host Craig Ferguson.

“I can’t describe how thrilled and honored I am to be taking over from the brilliant Craig Ferguson,” said Corden in a CBS statement. “To be asked to host such a prestigious show on America’s #1 network is hugely exciting. I can’t wait to get started, and will do my very best to make a show America will enjoy.”

Corden is set to take the reigns in 2015, but the official announcement hints that the Corden-hosted program might look a little different and possibly not be based in Los Angeles. Details about both the creative elements and location will “be determined and announced at a later date.” Read more…
